Optional Ethernet. The Fargo DTC550-LC supports secure ID card issuance at multiple locations throughout your enterprise. With an Ethernet port and internal print server, your IT staff can install a DTC550-LC card printer anywhere on a LAN. This printer also features an optional Print Security software which gives your security team tight control over ID card printer access.

Overlaminates - with holographics or microtext - add a layer of visual security to your cards, making it more difficult for counterfeiters to duplicate. The Print Security software adds password-controlled access to your printer. It can also notify key personnel via text or email message whenever printing is attempted outside of authorized hours.
Optional covert security measures. The Security Imaging application (also an optional feature with the Print Security Manager) adds covert visual security features to ID cards, taking card security to a higher level while providing card authentication data about the print event. This Print Security software, in conjunction with the Fargo DTC550-LC, gathers printer diagnostic data for troubleshooting, and can send an online order for Fargo Secure Materials to your Fargo SecureMark integrator |
